One country after another
Practice uses the same rules as the Daily Worldle. You see the silhouette of a country or territory and have 6 guesses to find it. Each guess shows the distance to the answer, an arrow toward it and a proximity percentage. The difference is that the country is picked at random, and when a round ends you can press Next country straight away. There is no daily limit.
Your current practice country is saved in your browser. If you reload the page or come back tomorrow, the same round is still waiting, with your guesses so far. After a round you can also try the flag bonus round: pick the right flag from 4.
Choose a region and the size of the answers
Two filters decide which countries can come up:
- Region. All, Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe or Oceania. Practicing one region at a time is a good way to learn its shapes and how its countries sit next to each other.
- Include small islands and territories. Off by default, so you only get places of at least 5,000 km², the size of Brunei or Trinidad and Tobago. Turn it on to add tiny ones such as Malta, Singapore, Luxembourg or Kiribati.
With every filter on All and small places included, Practice draws from 243 countries and territories, every place in the game that has a shape.
Separate statistics
Practice keeps its own statistics: rounds played, wins and the average number of guesses you needed. None of this affects your daily statistics or your streak, so you can try risky guesses and new strategies without worry. Settings such as kilometers or miles, hide shape, rotate shape and the dark theme work here too.
Practice: questions
Does Practice have bonus rounds?
Practice has the flag round: after each country you can pick its flag from 4. The capital round is part of the Daily Worldle only.
Does Practice change my daily streak?
No. Practice rounds are counted only in the Practice statistics. Your streak depends on the Daily Worldle alone.
How can I get better at Worldle?
Practice one region until you know its shapes and neighbors. Then learn to read the arrow and the percentage together: the percentage tells you how far away the answer is, and the arrow tells you which way.
